Murky Malverns walk (with Roger): Wednesday, 27th September, 2017.

10:30-ish:
A different walk today.
Heading south.
The path from the car park is immediately steep.
I've instructed Roger to look intrepid.
Blimey!
It's (puff) one steep (pant) climb after another (puff).
Nice of them to put some steps in.
10:45-ish:
The view to the north and our normal destination:
the Malverns highest summit: The Worcestershire Beacon.
Almost but not quite obscured by clouds.
11:00-ish:
The Worcestershire Beacon from a bit further along our walk
(the dog is not ours).
11:15-ish:
The hills to the south.
Roger would like to walk to that obelisk
on the horizon at some point.
But not today, David asserts.
The view to the east.
The sun is threatening to come out but, of course, it never does.
11:30-ish:
The view to the west.
Roger takes a rest and searches his rucksack for a nutritious banana.
11:40-ish:
Yay! We're back at the steep steps at last and the car park's almost in view.
It's all downhill from here.
