11.30-ish:
The sun is breaking through and the mist over the racecourse begins to clear.
Everything is calmness personified down by the river.
Shadows.
Autumnal selfie.
12.15-ish:
The Hive and some autumnals.
1.45-ish:
Heading home through Britannia Square where they have the nicest houses and the nicest berries.
2.15-ish:
Blue skies above Gheluvelt Park and plenty of autumnals within.
Not quite autumnals yet.
Looking back through the park as we trudge home.
Vicky's got some work to do, David's got some housework to do (ironing on a Monday & Friday)
and then we shall take stock before the dreaded Halloween folk come a-knockin'.
Hopefully, the memory of these autumnals will help us retain our sanity
as we dole sweets out to all and sundry.
