1) We're looking forward to our walk along the River Avon and have dressed sensibly today for the shivery 10 degree maximum temperature predicted by the ever-reliable BBC.
2) Amazingly, the sun's come out in defiance of Auntie
Beeb and it's about 17 degrees. David's already getting delirious and has been forced to unzip his jacket. There must be a tea room along here somewhere!

hallucinating now. These berries look good enough to eat. We need a cuppa tea.
4) Man of a certain age (no it's not Dave) drones on about the Golden Age of Steam to young chap feigning keen interest and who would really like to get on with shunting some carriages about 'cos,
y'know, it's his job.
