The trouble with our summers (when we get one) is that they are so cowin' humid. Yesterday was warm but fresh so, perhaps, we should have gone to Upton today rather than do a six mile round walk to the new footbridge across the river and back. We took the time to visit a tea room in town on the way (and on the way back) but David is still having a bit of a funny turn by the time we get to the bridge. Never mind the humidity, it's all these funny angles, Vic, he says, and the bouncy nature of the bridge. Yer can't beat a good old fashioned clunky straight-lined bridge like the one at Upton.
See what we mean about all these funny (jaunty) angles?
One and a half miles back to the nearest tea room and then another one and a half miles from there back home. Remind me: whose idea was this keep-fit lark?
