Ferrari Racing Days, Silverstone, Saturday 15th September, 2012.

Vicky is in heaven today. Wall-to-wall Ferraris. In fact, there are so many of 'em here that there's a danger of 'em losing their allure!
The problem with a busy paddock is that silly olde dozy buggers can walk into yer photo at any given moment.
People stand around a F1 car for simply hours just staring at the thing. Funny lot.
Somebody very rich but not necessarily particularly famous driving a fairly recent F1 car quite quickly as part of the F1 Clienti Programme. Alright for some.
Vicky is getting ever closer to her Testarossa dream car. Nissan GTR's in black, Audi R8's, and Jensen Interceptors are now all things of the past.
An ambition realised. Vicky is at the wheel of a Ferrari. However, she is outraged to learn that the 458 Spider doesn't even do 200mph: it only does 199. Can't you just sense her disappointment? And that lad's crestfallen.
Don't worry if you can't afford a Ferrari. Just do what these folk have done and make one up from bits and bobs lying around the paddock. Job done!
Setting a new Guinness World Record for the most single-make cars on a race track: over 1,000 Ferraris dawdle towards Luffield. Well, a few of them.

All-in-all a very enjoyable day in wonderful weather. Would have been even better with a few more classic/historic Ferraris.

Can't stop and talk any longer, gotta go and buy some lottery tickets.
