Big shop, Droitwich, and a walk to the river via The Post Office, Worcester: Monday, 12th October, 2020.

Cleaning the trolley.
Focused and on a mission.
All swan family members present and
correct in Vines Park.
Nicely drizzling by the time Vicky returns to the car.
At the Post Office.
Yoda.
Yeh, that's it, just there.
Pixie.
The swans are by the jetty.
Others are further downstream.
More about those later.
By the time we get to the jetty the swans
are halfway to the wall.
The river's strong current sweeps them past us.
Some energetic paddling (by the swans, not Vicky)
brings them within range.
Swans scoffing..........
....flying....
......and taking off.
A swift selfie with (some of) the swans.
Things are about to kick off.
Some swans are about to try to paddle past.
The parents are determined to see 'em off.
Although outnumbered, they succeed.
Just beyond 'our parent swan' a cormorant has
just surfaced with a fish.
Also, a kingfisher is (once again, sadly)
just out of shot.
