A walk to the river, along it, and back, Worcester: Tuesday, 20th October, 2020.

Autumnals in a tree.......
......and on the river.
The swans are downstream today.......
......and lurking beneath the trees on the far bank.
They don't seem particularly hungry.
The mallards aren't so fussy.
A big drip.
The cygnets necks are developing now.
Much sturdier.
I'm so full I can barely stay awake unless.......
.......I spot another swan family upstream!
The parent of the interlopers does the sensible thing
hoping, we presume, that it's cygnets follow suit.
If they can't fly they're in trouble.
Flat-out paddling is not going to save the day.
It's not exactly flight, but it'll do.
That's the day's drama over and done with.
Worcester skyscape.
As 'our' swans aren't hungry we'll give the
rest of our swan food to the ones they chased off.
These cygnets prefer paddling to 'flight'.
Stretching her wings.
We assume it's a 'she' as there is only one adult
in this family.
But that's a big assumption.
It could be a male given the 'big lump' at the top of it's bill.
Four satisfied swans.
That'll keep 'em going for a bit.
A total of four narrow boats today.
Proving popular in these Covid-restriction times.
Sabrina half-Bridge.
Heading back home.
Could this be the cat we photographed
the other day washing itself in the park?
It's a chunky one anyway.
Nice shell.
Park Avenue snail crosses the road very slowly.
