The Kersey Upland Route Walk: Saturday morning, 11th August, 2018.

10:30-ish.
Pointing out the landmarks at the start of the walk.
Shade, Vic. Always important.
Boyhood memories recreated.
The barley looks much shorter nowadays.
Might be 'cos I'm taller now or it might be 'cos of the dry summer.
They've spelt it correctly again, Vic.
We've reached the furthest point on our morning walk.
Shade, Dave. Always important.
Curious cows follow us at a respectful distance……….
………..thankfully, there is always a fence between us.
Cows can be a bit intimidating y'know.
Howard and Vicky and some hay bales
(and another herd of cows to negotiate).
Another field, another stile.
Almost back to the village of Kersey.
Getting thirsty now despite drinking plenty of water.
Back in the village.
It definitely has its charms.
De-cow-patting our walking shoes.
1:10-ish.
In The Bell Inn for lunch.
Never have two cold drinks tasted so good.
