Suffolk weekend - arrival: Friday, 10th August, 2018.

3:30-ish.
Lavenham.
It's taken about 5 hours to get here.
Problems on every road/motorway en route caused by a perfect storm
of summer holiday traffic, road works and weather.
Lavenham looks like a lovely place and we fancy a cuppa tea but we are too tired
and just want to find the village of Kersey and our accommodation.
Of course, there's more road works and a diversion just outside Lavenham. Oh good.
4:30-ish.
We have arrived at Primrose Cottage, Kersey, and Vicky is
welcomed in the kitchen by the very welcome welcome pack.
Time for a cuppa tea!
David in the living room.
Howard in the bathroom.
6:15-ish.
It's still raining as we walk down the village to the Bell Inn for our evening meal.
The Bell Inn. Looks alright.
At last!
We've found a place where everyone knows how to spell Kersey correctly.
8:00-ish.
Back outside after our evening meal, the rain has moved east and it's a lovely evening.
All memories of the awful journey to get here are long forgotten.
Primrose Cottage.
They've spelt Kersey correctly again Vic.
The view down the Kersey main street from outside the church.
About to go inside Primrose Cottage and retire for the night.
