The Kersey Copse and Tye Route Walk: Saturday afternoon, 11th August, 2018.

3:30-ish.
We've had a nice rest back in the cottage and have now
made our way to the start of our second walk of the day.
This walk has even more trees and bushes along the way than the last one.
Good. Plenty of shade.
An olde man and an even older oak tree.
A kestrel about to swoop down on some poor unfortunate.
We saw at least five kestrels above the fields here.
Never seen that many before in one place.
Circling the village of Kersey.
Always good to spot a bit of old agricultural machinery hanging about.
Time's getting on so we have cut the
walk short and are now back in Kersey.
The view of the main street.
Busy isn't it.
Bumble bee working hard above the river.
No wonder we are tired.
We've done just over 19k steps today. That's just over 9 miles.
Time for another lovely evening meal in The Bell Inn and then a good rest tonight.
Not getting any younger y'know.
