Gheluvelt Park, Pitchcroft, the city centre, and the pharmacy and back, Worcester: Monday, 10th October, 2022.

Magpie.
Putting its best foot forward.
Blue Tits.
Two.
Three in attendance?
It's a full meeting of THAWAS.
The benefits of Full Membership.
The benefits of Full Membership II.
Wren.
Half a walnut for Nic.
Autumnals.
One for sorrow.
New Bridge construction.
A glorious autumn day upstream.
A glorious autumn day downstream.
A peacful scene.
What could possibly change it?
A single-parent swan family coming downstream.
That's what.
Note Cormorant: first we've seen for ages.
And the Gheluvelts are off!
The 'outsider' parent can fly off to escape.
Leaving her cygnets to their fate.
Cygnets aren't so lucky.
But this one can almost fly and so gets away.
All four cygnets eventually get past.
Unscathed?
The Gheluvelts are re-united.
The agressive defending of their territory
is what makes then successful parents.
On Pitchcroft.
Kingfisher.
Female.
Skyscape.
Worcester Cathedral and friends.
Bird spotter.
Spotting birds?
Not many along here today.
Sunlight on The Severn.
Grey Wagtail?
Think so.
Almost under Sabrina Bridge.
Coffee Warehouse:
English Breakfast Tea and a
Fish Finger sammidge on white bread.
Not so good.
Decaf Tea and a Cheeseburger and chips.
Not as good here as our last visit.
Won't come here again.
Going in.
Wiping down the trolley.
Well in.
Street art.
Springing up all over the place.
Autumnals II.
Vicky with three chatty locals.
About to enter the pharmacy.
Fun guys.
Disrespect Gheluvelt Park war memorial shock!
Dappled sunlight.
Half a walnut on a bed of autumnals.
It's the life.
