Otter search, Braes Headland, Isle of Skye: Tuesday, 14th May, 2019.

Looking north towards Portree from Braes Headland.
Otter territory, but it all depends on the tides, evidently.
A couple of locals.
The lady of the house here made us a cup of tea later
in the day when the sun was getting even warmer.
The kindness of strangers.
Most appreciated.
Even if we don't see an otter it's still a wonderful place
to walk a little bit, sit and watch a little bit, and just simply take it all in.
Vicky's spotted something……..
…..we both want it to be an otter but we don't think it is.
We think it's a seal.
Not the most comfortable perch but it'll do.
I'm going crossed-eyed looking for otters, Vic.
Heron.
The path down to the lower levels of the headland.
Why haven't we brought any sun hats with us, Dave?
Oyster Catchers.
Eggs.
Not sure who they belong to.
Noisy jet fighter (are there any other sort).
It's all going on today.
A friendly thrush.
We may have been unlucky on our otter search
but it's been our best day yet on the Isle Of Skye.
Hardy seen another tourist all day.
