Swan Watch (usual place) & The Knapp & Paper Mill Nature Reserve, Worcs: Wednesday, 27th June, 2018.

9:10-ish.
Can you spot the cygnet (it's top-centre-ish)?
It's now almost duck-sized and the parents are no longer so vigilant.
Not sure that's a good thing.
10:30-ish.
The Reserve's Big Meadow is big today.
It's full of flying half-inch-biting-barsts an' all.
Leigh Brook.
Roger at Paper Mill Cottage.
He's taken his hat off.
He could be burnt to death!
Deep in the cool of the woods at the north end of the reserve.
Two olde-fellas posing for one of those modern photos.
Looking up the farmland to the east of the reserve……..
……and a view of the same land as we come back down.
12:30-ish.
Back in Gheluvelt Park and the swans are closer together now.
All our fingers remain crossed.
