Guess who's nipped in to Portree this morning 

and purchased two sun caps?

'bout time.

It's quite a walk from the car park to the 

coral beach north of Claigan but it has its compensations.

Otter search, Braes Headland, Isle of Skye: Tuesday, 14th May, 2019.

Otter territory, but it all depends on the tides, evidently.

The lady of the house here made us a cup of tea later 

in the day when the sun was getting even warmer.

The kindness of strangers.

Most appreciated.

Even if we don't see an otter it's still a wonderful place 

to walk a little bit, sit and watch a little bit, and just simply take it all in.

…..we both want it to be an otter but we don't think it is.

We think it's a seal. 

Not the most comfortable perch but it'll do.

We've walked down into Portree and this is the view over the harbour.
