(Outside) The Noisy Lobster:

Southern Fried Chicken Burger and chips.
The SFCB seems to be very popular down here,
as it is on every cafes menu.
Having sampled one here, I am very pleased to announce
that I will never do so again as long as I live.
Thank you and goodnight.
Friars Cliff Beach.
Friars Cliff Beach II.

We know how to live.
It's been raining.
But it's stopped now and so we're back out.

Nuthatch.

And that, my friends, is how to celebrate your
40th Wedding Anniversary.
Superb!
Outside Highcliff Castle.
Thrush.
With a tasty morsel.
Highcliff Castle grounds.
Mrs Mallard and her four chicks.
All still doing well.
On the way back to Friars Cliff.

Something tells us the tide's out.
The tide's turning now.
Quite a force of water flowing past.

Rhododendrons.
On our three walks to Highcliff Castle and back,
this has become our favourite place to rest and
to take in the view and enjoy the peace and quiet.
This is our clearest view of The Isle of Wight so far.
Usually, more hazy or cloudy than this.
Another day done.
Another diary update.

All that's left of The Gheluvelts nest.
A poignant reminder of a traumatic spring.
A fuss for Louis.
The River Severn II.
Not a very chatty local.
Ginge:
our favourite chatty local.
You might be wearing a Baseball Cap.
But I still know you're a rapidly balding olde scrote.

Not one for a close-up.
