Gheluvelt Park and Pitchcroft, Worcester: Wednesday, 14th December, 2022.

Robin.
Wasn't singing.
Still isn't.
Kingfisher.
Male.
Over The Brook.
On the playground viewing platform.
It's becoming a regular spot.
I've been sat here all morning.
I'm a fully paid up member.
It's an outrage.
You'd better have a half a walnut then.
Kingfisher.
Female?
Possibly.
Can't be 100% certain.
Opposite the spot where the male was earlier.
Vicky is being stalked by a fully paid up member
of THAWAS who she'd prefer wasn't.
Kingfisher.
Male.
At it's regular spot above The Brook.......
........in flight.
Red Wing.
Bright, cold and crisp upstream.
Bright, cold and crisp downstream.
Feeding two thirds of The Gheluvelts.
No sign of Dad today.
Crow.
Coming in to land.
Kingfisher.
Hurtling across the river.
On Pitchcroft.
Outward bound.
Kingfisher.
Giving the river a hard stare.
Skyscape.
Worcester Cathedral and friends.
Long Tailed Tit.
On Pitchcroft.
Homeward bound.
Treecreeper.
Cormorant.
Robin.
Wasn't singing.
Still isn't II.
Cormorants.
Four above water and........
.......deciding to fly further upstream.
Seeds for the birds.
Bridge ground decimation.
The Brook.
Plenty of birdsong here today 'cos
the construction site is on a lunch break.
