We reckon they took their cygnet to The main swan flock
by The Cathedral for the regular lunchtime feed.
Then, whilst the cygnet was busy feeding, they flew off
back upstream. Thus, freeing themselves of the
responsibility of parenthood until it all starts again next Spring.
Well, that's our theory.
