Walk to North Quay via Pitchcroft and back via the pharmacy, Worcester: Monday, 1st August, 2022.

Blackbird.
Male.
Yes, he's still bald.
Paddler.
Quite sunny, still, and humid with
no redeeming qualities upstream.

Busy Bee.
Tony, Kath and Vicky.
Chatting.
Kath feeding three female Mallards.
Busy Bee II.
On Pitchcroft.
Sunlight on the Severn.
Skyscape.
Worcester Cathedral and friends.
This is odd:
Several swans have got well-past the North Quay Mum
and are now being rounded up by Angel Wing,
who's territory lies between North Quay and
that of the Gheluvelt Swans.
We shall investigate further.
Almost under Sabrina Bridge.
Butterfly.
There's a new Mum with two cygnets at North Quay.
North Quay Mum has been usurped.
She is no longer the dominant female in this territory.
Her cygnets carry on as normal.
A group of hopeful younguns.
'New' Mother, in foreground, with
'old' Mother now usurped.
Thank goodness Marilyn is back
off her holiday.
It's all too much!
Just some of the 'new' swan community at North Quay.
As long as they can all co-exist, everything should be fine.
About to enter the pharmacy.
Blackbird.
Female.
