Walk to town and back via the pharmacy, the doc's, and Gheluvelt Park, Worcester: Tuesday, 31st August, 2021.

 

Seeds for the birds.

Grey and quite fresh upstream.
Grey and quite fresh downstream.
Apples.
Swans and ducks to feed at the jetty.
Slurp.
Narrow boat.
Narrow boat has passed.
Mother duck has given the signal 
to the ducklings to cross the river.
Same narrow boat.
And a paddler paddling.
Everyone's hungry.
It's a veritable food fest.

Worcester Cathedral and friends.

This boat was at Perdiswell yesterday.

What used to go on down here?
Elgar's:
Ploughman's, granary bread, and Darjeeling tea.
Beef lasagne, garlic bread, decaf tea.
High Street.
Pears.
Spags.
Outside the pharmacy.
Repeat requests delivered.
I can stand on water, me.
Two locals in the park, playing.
Would you like a nut?
Yes I would.
But, as you and I both know, they always........
..........taste much better upside down 
and at altitude.
