One parent and a cygnet.
How come the rest of the family are up river?
There's a veritable army of swan feeders who are
all told by the swans 'no, nobody's fed us today.
Not a soul. Honest.'
Parents and five cygnets in a feeding frenzy.
Our fellow swan feeder tells us that the 6th cygnet is alive and well!
The folk from the Wychbold Swan Sanctuary have taken it away
'cos the older cygnets were bullying it and it had a hole in one of
its wings. Hopefully, it will do much better now and be released back
onto the river at some point.
Some most welcome good news.
Two people on the bank of the River Severn.
Chatting to a local on Tower Bridge.
Chatting to a local at Tower Bridge PtII.
Seconds later saw a kingfisher dart down from a branch
and shoot back up again with a fish.
It's a good place to spot a kingfisher but you have to be
tall enough to see over the wall.
Good job this local is a short-fella.
