Where's Vicky? She's behind the camera today. On Paddock Photo duties. So David's reduced to using his little one. Still, as Vicky often reminds him: a littles one's all you need.
Best race of the day (in our opinion) was the one for the pre-1961 front-engined cars. Proper sights and sounds as loads of cars yawed their way thru' Brooklands and Luffield. Phillip Walker in a 1959 Lotus 16 won it from Rod Jolley in a 1958 Lister Jaguar Monza (that's them above).
Of course, no 'Spring Start' blog would be complete without a shot of our favourite vintage racer: Christopher Williams and his 1929 24000cc Napier Bentley. Here he is slicing through the field having started from the very back of the grid.
'Bike of The Day (the only 'bike of the day as we didn't notice any others).
Howard tries to blag a race in his very own mini-me Vintage Racer.
