Worcester to Carbis Bay: Monday, 16th October, 2017.

X Files sky over the M5 somewhere in Gloucestershire.
Later we learn that it's not so much X Files as an ex-hurricane
drawing up sand from the Sahara
along with smoke from recent Portuguese bush fires.
We prefer the X Files theory.
4pm-ish and we've arrived.
Quick! Take a shot of the view.
No time to admire the facilities and unpacking can wait.
Gorra get down to the beach before it rains.
The going down to the beach is great.
We wont mention the coming back up.
Vicky is on the beach.
Note lady just behind her about to get her ankles soaked
by a rogue Carbis Bay wave.
But, again, we wont mention that.
Two people very happy to be on the beach at Carbis Bay.
Puffed and panted back up the hill pursued by looming rain clouds
which duly caught us up with about 100 metres to go.
Nice rainbow tho'.

Encounter with a local, Worcester: Saturday, 14th October, 2017.

That's it, yeh, just along my back. Lovely.
Oh, not so sure about all this malarky.

Croome Park alternative walk (with Roger): Friday 13th October, 2017.

The London Arch.
Nowhere near London, thankfully.
Roger with The Malverns lurking menacingly on the horizon.
Croome Court with 'the river' and some geese and ducks an' whatnot.
The view towards The Park Seat.
The view from The Park Seat.
Roger and The Park Seat.
Solo selfie shock!

Into town and back, Worcester: Monday, 9th October, 2017.

Some folk get a big dog to guard their homes.
Full of hot air.
Yet another selfie.

Wednesday, 4 October 2017

Croome Park (with Roger): Wednesday, 4th October, 2017.

The 'man-made river' water quality is improving.
Next time we do a walk here we'll walk along it, investigate, and report back.
The now traditional shot of The Malverns lying
in wait for unsuspecting walkers everywhere.
Well, it looks easy from here.

The Autumn American Classic, Prescott: Saturday, 30th September, 2017.

10:00-ish:
Raining when we left home at 9,
but it's nice here.
Can't last, of course.
Enjoying the sunshine and a cuppa tea at the Paddock Cafe.
1976 Group II Camaro of the type pedalled by
Stuart Graham back in the day.
Indian 'bikes on display.
10:30-ish:
Raining a little bit now.
National Chopper Club display.
Just the job for cruisin' down to Cornwall
later on for a touch of surfin'.
Still raining a touch.
10:45-ish:
Rain's stopped, sun's out and the paddock is drying out
nicely under a blanket of autumnals.
Ah, memories, memories.
Meanwhile, there's a hill climb taking place on a greasy surface
which catches quite a few out further up the hill
under the trees as the morning proceeds.
Howard shows loyalty to a British marque.
Talking down to the RNLI-people?
Vicky and her big trucks Pt 3,745.
Meanwhile, back at the hill climb……..
….another actual hill climb car is hurtling up the hill climb.
The Malvern Hills from Pardon Hairpin.
1:00pm-ish:
It's the lunch break and it's time for the Paddock Display Parade.
Vicky - we need a wider lens!
Steam powered?
Now we've seen everything.
Lunchtime jivers.
Slightly past their best.
2:00pm-ish:
The Lunch Break is almost over and it's time for a demonstration
run by the Penske PC93 which finished 11th in the 1993 Indy 500.
It's quick, it's noisy and it's spectacular.
If only that weather was heading our way.
This is the weather heading our way.
Time for a quick exit.

Fit Bit stats today:
David: 8,121 steps, 3.83 miles, and 26 stairs.
Vicky: 9,600 steps, 4:00 miles, and 59 active minutes.
