Pembrokeshire trip, 5th May '09: journey home.

A walk around the Welsh Botanic Gardens (well, the fields around the back).

Hay-on-Wye.

In the immortal words of Vicky: all fur coat and no knickers.

Howard has a brand new bessie-mate.

Meet Rhodri, the Giant Skomer Island Puffin.

Pembrokeshire trip, 4th May '09: murky dismal day.

Outside St Davids cathedral.

Don't worry, it'll clear up.

Handy shelter.

It'll clear up soon. Bound to.

It's mid-afternoon in the highest pub in the world (well, Pembrokeshire). There's no food available from the kitchen, so let's have a healthy snack.

Pembrokeshire trip, 3rd May '09: Skomer Island Pt II.

Some serious birdwatching going on here.

Look out boyos. I'm attempting to land.

You sure this is Wales?

Bluebells not in a wood shock.

Pembrokeshire trip, 3rd May '09: Skomer Island.

The trials of a superstar puffin.

You come home and the paps are swarming all over your front drive.

You feel hemmed in. You have a right to privacy like everyone else.

The second you step outside, the paps are taking your photo.

Ok. You've got one of me flapping my wings.

Now boggoff!

Pembrokeshire trip, 2nd May '09: the drive down.

Ooh, there's lovely!

Border country view from the A44.

Not the last time we'll be seeing sheep on this trip, eh?

Safe arrival at the farmstay B & B on the Dale Road south of Haverfordwest.

Very nice too.

Bestrode the Pembrokeshire coastal path like the proverbial.

Silverstone, Saturday 25th April '09.

The VSCC's meeting at Silverstone was sunny but cold. Why are Silverstone and Snetterton the two coldest places in the motorsport universe? Answers on a postcard to the usual address.

Vicky dreaming Pt I.........

.......................and Pt II.

She walked up to me,
And in a dark brown voice,
She said.........................

Yer 1950's sports cars. Being thrashed.

Get some wider wheels fer gawd's sake!

Evesham Dogs Trust Friday 24th April '09.

Thanks to The Answer postponing their Nottingham gig, we had a free Friday. So, what could be better than doing some dog walking in the lovely spring weather? Answer: nothing!

Wally has been re-homed. He's leaving the Dogs Trust on Sunday (sob). Good news for him but a sad day for us as we've enjoyed knowing him.

Here he's showing off his dribbling skills.

Look at that stepover.

Eat yer heart out, Ronaldo.

Meeting Ty.

He's got some boxer in him, wouldn't you say?
