Another Big Shop mission successfully completed.

David's lunch:
Ham, onion and mozzarella panini
(Vicky had one with tuna).

Bit of a dilemna Pt I:
Can we spare a bit of swan food
for a non-member of our family?
Yes we can.

Bit of a dilemna Pt II:
Can we spare some food for all these?
No we can't but, luckily, somebody appears on the
far river bank with some food for them.

Seconds later 'our' swans make an appearance.

Get feedin' 'em Vic.

Evening meal:
Chicken Caesar salad.

Supposed to be a Chocolate and Vanilla Marble Cake
but more like a Chocolate and Splodge Cake.
Lovely whatever it is.

Someone's pleased to find that the swans
are on The Brook and still thriving.

Cheddar cheese, Branston Pickle and salad sammidges
on wholegrain bread, a tomato, with
Mushroom soup and a fruit pot.

Vicky's lunch:
Tuna, peppers, onions, celery and mozzarella
panini with salad.

Evening meal:
Grilled turkey, new potatoes,
brocolli, carrots, spinach and gravy.

The swan whisperer does her thing, River Severn, Worcester: Sunday, 12th July, 2020.

Breakfast.

The swans are on the river playing avoid the motor boats.

Time to give the swan food a shake or two.

The ducks fly in from the jetty.

It would be nice to think that the swans and ducks are
happy to share the food.
But that would be fanciful.

Evening meal:
Turkey, vegetables and new potatoes.

Dessert:
Fruit, yoghurt and a meringue.

Gentle stroll, Gheluvelt Park and Pitchcroft, Worcester: Saturday, 11th July, 2020.

Vicky's breakfast:
bowl of fruit, muesli, nuts and seeds with yoghurt.

Vicky has spotted summat up stream.

It's 'our' swan family - father an' all - where we've not seen
them before. Dad's deigned to be with them but they are all
out of range for Vicky's swan food container rattle.

No such problem with the duck family.

Evening meal:
Rump steak, mushrooms, red onion, tomatoes,
and peas with salad.

Into town and back, Worcester: Friday, 10th July, 2020.

The swans are on the river.
No sign of Dad, of course.

Only one thing for it.......

.....feed 'em!

Been to the bank and now going in to Wilko.

Cheese, apple and walnuts with a bread
roll and a knob of butter.

Evening meal:
Chicken and veg Pizza with coleslaw.

....and here's the sixth cygnet, just a touch
downstream from the others.

Hoverfly of some sort, probably.

David's lunch:
Ham sammidges with a light scraping of English Mustard
and salad on wholegrain bread with a tomato.
Washed down with chicken and veg soup and followed
by a fuit pot.

Vicky's lunch:
Poached egg on Granary toast.

Evening meal:
Chicken mayo salad with new potatoes, coleslaw
and sweetcorn.

Dessert:
Eton Mess.
