1) Been meaning to take a photo of these berries near Gheluvelt Park for the past few days. Now we have.
2) A walk through Nunnery Wood Country Park. You may think it fanciful that there might be foxes here in broad daylight, but Vicky spotted one at 1:00pm in Droitwich town centre just a few days later.

1) A lovely sunny autumnal day for a spot of grasstrack racing: it's a damn-sight warmer than the July meeting! Let's start with a bit of 350cc action.
2) Yay! It's the 1000cc Sidecars. We like the 1000cc sidecars.
3) We don't think pillion grasstrack racing is going to catch on: too slow by half.

3) Having emailed Sidge the best we can offer is that these two-thirds sized multi-coloured tennis balls stuffed down the trumpets of a Ford Anglia's engine are there to keep anything nasty from getting in whilst being worked on. Could be.

11) It's gone five o'clock and the few hardy souls remaining are looking forward to leaving Silverstone in search of those elusive 'sunny spells' the BBC confidently predicted this morning.
12) When we get home Emlyn is standing guard over his auto-feeder-thingy. He's had two meals from it already and he knows another one's on the way: and he's not for shifting.

5) When we get home we are knackered and would quite like a quick kip on the bed. But someone, who shall remain nameless, has snuck in and is sleeping ON THE TOP SHEET. Vicky is appalled.
1) A veritable tsunami of flowers has been washed up New Street to crash against the shores of Victoria Square.

3) Meeting up with Richard and Caroline. And what's that beneath us? The Home Made Burger Co? Yay, it's serendipity. Let's go in!
4) After a good meal and a right-good catch-up we need to walk off our burgers, so we wander down to The Cube to see how it's coming along.
5) We may have already mentioned this: the architect was trying to echo a jewellery box with the design. We are warming to the exterior concept but Caroline has spotted a flaw.........
6)............there's a cowin' big hole in the roof. That is to say, there isn't one. So when you come inside from the outside you are still not quite inside. Not a very secure jewellery box then. And folk will get wet in inclement weather. Cowin' architects.
7) And what's this bit supposed to echo? A Klingon battle cruiser?
8) Only two sets of escalators are running at present.......
9).........but we can get the drift. What will it be like when it is fully occupied? More to the point: when will it achieve full occupation in these grim times?
