A walk in to the city centre and back, Worcester: Friday, 29th April, 2022.

 

Gold Finches.
Violating local parking regs.

Feeding ducks and pigeons.

Not one to say no to a duck food pellet.

Mr and Mrs Swan are on The Brook.
Cygnets are on Mum's back.
Three cygnets on view.
Fellow spectators assure us that there are four.
The fourth one must be both squashed and very warm.
Seeds for the birds.
Starting to brighten up upstream.
Still grey downstream.
Mrs and Mr River-Swan.
Not a lot happening.
Skyscape (with added Magpie).

On Pitchcoft.
Feeding Angel Wing and his new partner.
A female also with one wing.
It's lovely that they have found one another.

Stuffed with two types of cheese, leeks, 
pieces of ham and so on.

Gheluvelt Park, & Pitchcroft (just a bit), Worcester: Thursday, 28th April, 2022.

 

Tubsie and Vicky.
The symbiotic relationship continues.

Merely another fully paid up member of THAWA Society.

We'll be able to use it once more if they ever get 
around to painting and treating it.
Mrs and Mr Swan are now on The Brook 
with their four cygnets and two Mallards for company.
The cygnets have been swept down two weirs 
and can't get back up again.
Happens every year.
They seem happy enough.

Gheluvelt Park, Pitchcroft, and Red Hill, Worcester: Wednesday, 27th April, 2022.

The pond has been drained for bridge works.
