Gloucester Docks: Tuesday, 20th November, 2019.

Collecting David and Eleanor from their Claines B & B
and making friends with the farm's dog.
One of four.
(One of the others has only got three legs.
But that's another story).
Gloucester Docks Christmas Fair.
It's very disappointing that some folk refuse
to take posing for a photo seriously.
It's before her time but Vicky is always pleased
to celebrate when the Villa last won the FA Cup.
David, a Victorian chimney sweep, and Eleanor.
He looks a happy fella.
David and two Victorian wenches.
Just the two.
Vicky and somebody muscular in a Christmas hat.
The Docks.
At 3:00pm-ish.

Batsford Arboretum and Broadway (updated): Monday, 19th November, 2019.

Eleanor, David and Vicky at the entrance to the arboretum.
Strolling along the arboretum's main drag.

Look at that sky!
Outside the Batsford parish church.

Eleanor and Vicky.
Vicky and two Davids.
David and Vicky.
Victoria. Slightly wet.
Eleanor is pleased to have avoided a soaking from the waterfall.
It got everybody else.
Ellie and Howard.
The guardians of travellers.
David and Eleanor and a thatched roofed cottage.
Eleanor has become a professional thatched roof-spotter
during this trip to the northern hemisphere.
Eleanor and Vicky on The Chinese Bridge.
We're in Broadway now.
Vicky and the multi-talented Eleanor.
Look there's nowt she can't do.
Now she's balancing a tree on her head!
Something's gone on during this window shopping session.
Dunno-what now tho'.
They say the light's are always bright in Broadway.

Severn up, Worcester: Friday, 15th November, 2019.

Road flooded and defences up.
Flooded Pitchcroft.
Ready for a close up…...
……and a wide angle.
Vicky's perspective.
The Severn.
Both wide and fast flowing.
River and brook combine to flood the park.
The happy couple.
Glimmy!
Alternative route.
Thriving.
Ditto.

Walk into town, Worcester: Sunday, 11th November, 2019.

The view south across Pitchcroft.
Stand just there Vic.
OK Dave.

Stand over there Dave.
OK Vic.
Leaves.
Semi-mulched.

Glorious.
Wot about if I stand just here Vic?
OK Dave.
This lot is going to get cleared away tomorrow.
Alternative view.
Everyone's favourite view of Worcester.
You can't beat a refreshing drink of flood water.
Vicky's feeling guilty.
We haven't got any swan food.
Last shot before we head into town to keep our
economy going with a little bit of shopping
(from actual shops) and then some tea
and cake from Elgars before walking back home.
Simple pleasures.
