Gheluvelt Park, Worcester: Friday, 26th July, 2019.

The swans are up the brook today so the
ducks are getting a fair share of our food for a change.
They certainly seem hungry.
Flower bed I.
Flower bed II.

Elmdon Airport, Birmingham: Tuesday, 23rd July, 2019.

So why are we taking a photo of Birmingham's original airport?
Because we've got a day of tests/pre-op for David at Heartlands Hospital
to look forward to tomorrow and the hotel we are staying in is only about
20 minutes drive away and the appointment starts at 8am!

Stuff seen on a walk around Gheluvelt Park and Pitchcroft (plus baking update), Worcester: Tuesday, 23rd July, 2019.

Strange?
The swans are back on their old nest.
The third cygnet is an independent sort and is out on the pond feeding.
Some sort of bee but not a bumble bee.
Not many of them about at the moment.
International Caterpillar Rescue rescues a horned-fella from a marauding cyclist.
That's the trouble with shared rights of way.
There's a lot of different folk sharing 'em.
It's sunny, very warm and incredibly humid.
Not very good for us but incredibly good
for Terry who's having a lovely sunbathe.
Banana and walnut loaf.
Mediterranean vegetable and chicken tart.
And Vicky wonders why she gets so hot in the kitchen.
