Ludlow Farm Shop, Ludlow & Gheluvelt Park, Worcester: 27th March, 2019.

About to go and spend just over £8.
Well, someone's gorra keep our economy going.
About to buy two small jars of jam,
a bag of salad and a naughty sausage roll.
The things we have to do when Vicky's taking the photos.
Where we've just had 'brunch'.
Cost loads more than we spent in the shop.
Heading out of Shropshire and back into Worcestershire.
Back in Worcester and the chance to take a quick
walk around the park to check up on the swans.
Still seven eggs. Phew.

River levels dropping, Worcester: Thursday, 21st March, 2019.

Yesterday's high water mark.
Vicky unimpressed.
The benches are visible once more.
Could M&S be a destination today?
The Swan Whisperer whispering.
Steps to the lower path are reappearing.
The lower footpath is becoming visible again.
On the way back home and in the park again.
The swan's nest is now full of feathers and soft pieces of vegetation.
Hopefully, the four eggs are under all that.
Hopefully.

Will The Severn peak in Worcester today? Wednesday, 20th March, 2019.

Another step higher today.
Spot the two benches.
Gheluvelt Park: good for the swans at least.
The river is much wider than when Vicky last saw it (Monday).
View across to the flooding from outside The Pumphouse.
The path along Pitchcroft has flooded.
We are cut off!
Will this section of the footpath be under water tomorrow?
No Vicky. I am not going to take two steps further back.
Daffodils.
Slowly drowning.
Steps down to the lower path have almost disappeared now.

Gheluvelt Park, Pitchcroft and up The Malverns: Tuesday, 19th March, 2019.

The River and The Brook have encroached
upon Gheluvelt Park even more today.
You could stand on the grass in front of the bench yesterday.
Mallards keeping their feet dry.
Steps down to the lower footpath completely submerged.
High water table on the racecourse.
Looking south from Sabrina Bridge.
Looking west as we climb The Malverns.
Quite cloudy and warm today.
Tea and biccies consumed we take in the view to
the north from the highest point of The Malverns.
On the way back down now (always the best bit) and
Roger has been told to stand there and look intrepid.
Grass munchers on the western slopes of The Malverns.
Back in Worcester again and walking back home along Pitchcroft
as the river transports yet another fallen tree southward.
