Croome Park with Roger and Gheluvelt Park without: Thursday, 30th November, 2017.

10:30-ish:
All waterways at Croome Park are frozen today.
First frost of the winter.
Not sure what this building that Roger and I are sat within is called,
but I do know we are enjoying a welcome cup of tea from Roger's flask.
11:30-ish:
The water here is only just starting to melt.
12:30-ish:
Dodgy photo of a kingfisher in Gheluvelt Park.
Hope you can spot it giving the brook a hard stare.
One day I will have a proper camera on me although,
of course, that'll be the day I don't see one.

Walking up The Malverns with Roger (again): Friday, 24th November, 2017.

It's crisp and clear today with a gentle cold wind.
Just right.
Herefordshire and Wales are over that way.
Looking north-east over Malvern itself.
A touch hazier to the south-east.
Seeing The Malverns from Croome Park is one thing.
Seeing Croome Park from The Malverns is quite another.
But it's over there somewhere.

Walking up The Malverns with Roger: Wednesday, 15th November, 2017.

11:00-ish:
We've been 'climbing' for about 1/3 mile and this is the view
to the south and where we've come from.
Looking south west.
A little bit of smoke always makes things look a touch more Autumnal.
A bull keeps watch on two olde fellas making their way
towards The Worcestershire Beacon.
More bulls.
Some are grass trimming, some aren't.
We are on our way back down now and Roger is resting and eating a banana,
whilst gazing towards Herefordshire and Wales.
Who said blokes can't multi-task?
11:45-ish:
Halfway back to the car park and still higher than the clouds.

Another pleasant river Sunday, Worcester: 12th November, 2017.

There could be literally zillions of kingfishers in Kingfisher Territory today
but we'll never know 'cos the sun is both too low and too bright
so we can't see a cowin' thing.
A northerly breeze means it's time for our hoodies.
Long shadows even tho' it's only 3pm-ish.

Looking down on things from The Wall.
Looking up at things in Gheluvelt Park.

Croome Park (with Roger): Friday, 10th November, 2017.

The Malvern Hills.
A touch too breezy to walk up/along them today.
View to the south from the same spot as above.
A Heron and several mallards not up to a lot.

Sunday, 5 November 2017

River sunset, Worcester: Sunday, 5th November, 2017.

Not quite sunset yet.
Same view but without any expert kingfisher watchers.
Just take a little walk down the river
and by the time we get back it'll be sunset.
Sunset!
Knew it'd be along in a minute.
Just seen a kingfisher whizzing low across the river.
2 minutes later it passed right beneath where we are stood.
Counts as one view.
83 in total now.
Cloudscape on the way home.
