Balloons over Worcester, Saturday evening, 26th September, 2015.

What a lovely evening.
Balloon watching? It's a spectator sport.
Wonder where it will land.
And that's the thing: the take-off would be ok, not so keen on the landing.
No caption shock!
Well, apart from this one, that is.
What a splendid time of the year.
Quite warm, fresh air, with hardly any humidity. Fantastic.

Nice weather for ducks? Gheluvelt Park, Worcester, Monday, 14th September, 2015.

11:30am.
You might not be able to tell from this photo but it is absolutely p*ss*ng down as I trudge through the park on the way to town to meet up with Vicky for lunch and a bit of shopping.
There are more ducks on the grass then in the lake.
But are they happy?
2:00pm.
It's stopped raining now as, with tummies full, we head back home.
So, are the ducks still happy?
No, 'cos we haven't got any bread.
More bolshie than happy, I'd say.

Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb, Sunday, 13th September, 2015.

We arrive after a three hour drive (45 minutes of which was spent in roadworks in Salisbury) at 12:30 and locate 'Team Tony'.
From left to right: Richard, Simon, Tony, Vicky and Paula.
Having arrived late it's the lunch break so we head to the clubhouse for some chips washed down with cups of tea.
The thought of chips is always much better than the actuality, doncha think?
Still, thus fortified, it's time to take some shots of cars leaving the start and going up the hill.
Howard Harman in his MG PA leaves the start in a bit of a hurry.
We like this one………..
…..and this Lancer has got the same clocks as ours (albeit in white), we'll have you know.
At The Carousel now.
Dave Lord - 2 litre Rover Mini.
Jonathan Gates - 1300cc Force LM - exits The Carousel.
Yay! It's the 500cc single-seaters!
Mark Riley - 500cc Creamer.
Now, what you don't want to do just as Tony is going to hove into view, is get distracted and, thus, only realise it is him when he is almost upon you and then proceed to take the shot in a hurry and cock it up. No, ya don't wanna do that.
Sorry, Tony.
Never knowingly in control of yer bolide, Pt I.
Never knowingly in control of yer bolide, Pt II.
Never knowingly in control of yer bolide, Pt III.
Tony coming back down the hill.
Not still in use, hopefully.
Back down the bottom of the hill now and an alternative view of The Start.
Two fully paid-up members of The F1 Mechanics and Technicians Union work seamlessly together to prepare Tony's car for it's second timed run.
And, with that, it's time (4:00pm) for us to leave.
Another three hour journey lies in wait. Salisbury is fine this time but when we get back to the M5 it is bolloxed between Tewksbury and Worcester South. Oh deep joy.
Emlyn will be worrying where we are and, yes, predictably, when we get in, he has failed to locate all the food we left for him in his mechanical feeder so he gets a lot of food all in one go.
Safe to say, it will take him until dawn to sleep all that little lot off.

The rise of the seagull, Worcester, Sunday, 6th September, 2015.

They're the size of an albatross and they are after yer burgers
(as seen through the window of The Boston Tea Room).
