Evesham Cats Protection, Sunday 15th May, 2011.

1) Derek has already made friends with one of the many 'let out daily's'. Whether he was ready to make another friend at this juncture is hardly the point.
2) This is known in the trade as 'a bit of a stand-off'. We are all relieved
that Vicky has chosen the short straw.

3) It's not long before Elsie assumes the position (or should that be Vicky assumes the position).

4) Pandora is now living in a first floor penthouse apartment but, as is her way, she is still not happy. I mean, one simply can't manage without an elevator.

5) No, it's no good looking in on us. We're all already spoken for. Our Mum isn't though, funnily enough.

Suckley, Wednesday 4th May, 2011.

1) You can go out with Pat and Graham as much as you like for all I cowin' care. I've slipped the lid off my mechanical-food-serving gizmo-thingy and now fully understand the gubbins. So, I just sit here and wait for it to come 'round, right? I can do that.
2) Vicky and Dave. Happily married for 25 years and still going strong.

3) Pat and Graham. Happily married for forty five years and still going strong. Note how Graham retains a happy visog despite Pat standing on his toe! That's love, that is.

Silver Wedding Anniversary, Tuesday 3rd May, 2011.

1) We had planned to spend our anniversary re-creating our honeymoon with a couple of weeks in Napflion but, what with the Coalition eyeing us up an' all, we thought that might be slightly reckless. So we have driven to another lovely harbour full of little fishing boats. Lyme Regis will look even nicer when the tide comes back in.

2) Howard contemplates some exploration of the Jurassic Coast but, sensibly, heads for the nearest Tea Room instead.

3) Personally, we feel they may need a bigger padlock!

4) The happy couple sat on the harbour wall.

5) This is just the sort of childish 'humourous' image the internet was created for.

6) Not actually called Wisteria Lane, but it could be.

7) We've now driven through Seaton in search of another tea room but it was shut (as usual) and so have washed up at a favourite haunt: the lovely bay at Beer. How many times have we tried to capture the perfect composition of these fishing boats over the years? Looks like we will have to make several return visits yet.

8) Let's try a shot of the deck chairs instead.

9) The happy couple on the beach at Beer. A mere shadow of their former selves? Oh deep. Very deep.

Prescott Speed Hill Climb, Saturday 30th April, 2011.

1) Howard and David are agreed: it certainly has the power, but the handling 'round the hairpins?

2) Lee Adams and the GWR Raptor Suzuki 1600cc may not look all that impressive at first glance but it is well suited to Prescott's twists and turns and set the second fastest time. One to keep an eye on for the rest of the year?

3) Bluebells have been a real feature of this years glorious Spring and Prescott proves to be no exception.

4) Oh, very Cadwell Park. Scott Moran in the Gould GR61/NME stays 'on it' for every single millisecond through The Esses. He set FTD (but only just).

5) Head back, mouth open: there's always someone who succumbs to the woozyness of a sunny spring afternoon.

6) Martin Robbins on his 637cc KTM KB at Ettore's Bend.

7) Meanwhile, back at base, somebody is not impressed with our galavanting. He's missed his one o'clock! It's an outrage.
