Evesham Cats Protection, Sunday 28th November, 2010.

1) Volunteering at the Evesham CP on the coldest November morning in living memory (well, ours) can have it's compensations. Nice frosty hanging basket, for instance..............
2)............... pretty icy patterns on the storage shed window.........
3)..............and, er, the communal ash tray looking even less appealing than usual. Two out of three ain't bad tho', eh?

4) Pandora simply can't understand why people have her down as a grumpy grot-pot.

5) Derek models the latest wear for CP volunteers: the Elsie winter warmer.

6) The precise moment when Pandora realised that venturing outside might not have been one of her better decisions.

7) Don't expect me to come out from under here until next Spring.

8) My name's Dawn and I'm a Burman. It's too late to adopt me, of course, I've already been chosen.

Saturday 27th November, 2010.

1) Oh yes, we're fairly 'ard, we are. It's always nice to record the first snowfall of the winter even if it's not even December yet. Brrrr.

2) Emlyn proves you don't need a full set of gnashers for survival. He may only have three teeth left but he can still give those foolish enough to cross him a hell of a gumming.

Winterslow, Saturday 13th November, 2010.

1) Tony with his new Triumph Bonneville. In black, of course.

2) But what's this? The Final Drive Chain on the right? It's lunacy!

Monday 8th November, 2010.

1) Following that thought provoking programme about the trenches of WWI on the Beeb last night, a suitably soggy shot of the Gheluvelt Park memorial to the fallen.

2) It's pissing down today (excuse the vernacular) so I need some entertainment for my walk. What better than some fungi spotting along the Severn.
3) Goodness knows what this is called but you wouldn't want it served up with yer 'full English'.

4) Shiny Slimyus Putridicus?

5) Hobbittus Jauntyus Cappus?

6) Spreading Foulus Apricot Sliceus sans Carnation Milkyus (that's one for all children of the 1950's)?

Sunday 7th November, 2010.

1) Amazing how an afternoon of Moto GP and F1 can pass some people by.

Severn-side walks, early November, 2010.

1) The leaves are now at that greeny-yellowy stage. One good blast of Easterly wind and they'll all be gone.

2) What manner of fungal lunacy is this? Answers on a postcard to the usual address.

Evesham Cats Protection, Sunday 31st October, 2010.

1) Aha! Ziggy Stardust, one presumes.

2) Elsie is still too old to be re-homed and only desires a shoulder to grip and purr on. Trouble is, there's pens to clean out. Something tells us Vicky may be a tad delayed.
3) Dashit! I need a longer run-up!

4) I know I said I was ready for my close up but this is ridiculous.

5) It's no good. I'm a gonna. You'll have to carry on without me.

6) The pens are all cleaned out but Elsie still needs a shoulder to purr on. Yes, even this one!

7) Some folk deserve a kip, they've just done a shift at the Cats Protection. Other folk don't, 'cos they haven't.

Birmingham, Saturday 30th October, 2010.

1) PO Tower from the third floor of the Brindley Drive car park with some nice autumnals for contrast.

2) Quick Dave. It's a Triumph. IN BLACK! Take a photo.
